The Canon TS-E 135mm F4 L Macro lens is characterized by its close-focus and perspective control capabilities, a tilt-shift lens of normal length and it is ideal for product, architecture, and interior photography. A tilt of up to 10° is possible, for focus control, and about 12mm shift, to adjust perspective and composition. A tilt locking mechanism can be used for more stability while shooting. A minimum focus distance of 49 cm and a maximum magnification of 0.5x benefit of the range of motion for more depth control while shooting close-up subjects.
In addition to the operation of the lens, this L-series prime lens also distinguishes itself by the optical design that contains a few Ultra-Low Dispersion elements to reduce color edges and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity. Individual elements feature an optimized lens coating to suppress lens flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color neutrality.
