With the use of 20 elements in 13 groups and a highly sophisticated optical design, it delivers a superior balance between resolution and contrast for sharp, clear images. The front group includes three LD-glass (low dispersion) elements (two in the first group and in the third one) for enhanced optical correction-effectiveness so that the lens can make a good compensation for on-axis aberrations at the telephoto side.
