The Tamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD is a wide-angle lens that is specifically designed for full-frame cameras but can also be used on the APS-C camera range (56mm), that can be used for many purposes. The lens provides a MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of twenty centimeters, making it also suitable as a wide-angle macro lens. With a maximum aperture of f/1.8 this bright lens can be used in almost every light. The circular aperture provides beautifully-tuned background blur.
Improved image and build quality
The Tamron SP 35mmf/1.8 Di VC USD is equipped with a Low Dispersion element, an extra low dispersion element and two aspherical elements to minimize aberrations and distortions and maximize sharpness. The built-in powerful ultrasonic USD motor (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) provides fast but very quiet, internal autofocus. In the new design the lens is sealed in various places to protect the lens against, inter alia, moisture and condensation. The front lens is equipped with eBand (Extended Bandwidth & amp; Angular-Dependency) and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating to minimize reflections, flare and ghosting while improving contrast and color fidelity.
