The first group contains three LD glass elements( Low Dispersion)(two in the first group and one in the third) for improved optical correction- this is effective because the lens compensates on-axis aberrations on the tele-photo side.

Thanks to a 9 blade round diaphragm, users can create beautiful background effects (Bokeh) which can lead to many more creative possibilities. The round diaphragm keeps an almost round form, even on two steps lower than the maximum aperture.

The Tamron SP 150-600mm F5-6.3 Di VC USD has an USD (Ultra Silent Drive) ultrasonic transmission for a fast and accurate AF response, which ensures a high coupling, a very fast response time and substantially less noise. With the full-time manual focus mechanism you can also make more accurate adjustments when the AF is activated.
